2018: Celebrating the 20th Season of Summer League

The Greater Cleveland Lacrosse Summer League is the oldest and most established league in Northeastern Ohio because of the consistency of the program, the quality of organization, and the skill level of the players participating from the youth through elite levels of play. 


Join us for another great summer of lacrosse on the fields in Hudson and compete for the annual “Watermelon Bowl Championship XX”

Location

BOYS/MEN:  Hudson City Schools Fields at East Woods Elementary (120 N. Hayden Pkwy. Hudson, Ohio, 44236) and 


GIRLS/WOMEN:  Scott Malson Field at Hudson Middle School (77 N. Oviatt St. Hudson, Ohio, 44236)

Dates of Play

Tuesday evenings June 5, 12, 19, 26, July 3, 10 (July 11 will serve as the rain date)

Divisions & Times of Play

5:30 pm Youth (entering grades 4-6) & Middle School Boys (entering grades 7-8)

6:30 pm High School Boys & Girls (entering grades 9-12)

7:30 pm Elite Men & Women (HS graduates & above)

Player Registration

  • $95.00 for all field players through May 31 ($100.00 after June 1). 
  • Goalies pay $40.00.
  • Online registration (for nominal fee) is through Active.com.
  • $25.00 processing fee on all returned checks. 
  • $25.00 non-refundable
  • Registration is on a first come, first served basis (divisions fill up fast, so register early to avoid close-outs).
  • After June 1, no refunds will be granted without a medical note from a doctor.

League Highlights

Games are two, 24-minute running time halves (5-minute half-time).

All protective equipment must be worn (mouthpieces included)

Youth, & Middle School divisions will be part instructional and part play.

High School divisions will follow NFHS rules (per OHSAA rules, teams may have 5 players per team or count the date as a contact day with unlimited players).

Elite division games will follow NCAA rules.
